Liberty High School is a public secondary school located in Peoria, Arizona, United States. The high school is currently a part of the Peoria Unified School District. The school opened its doors in August 2006 due to overcrowding at Sunrise Mountain High School and rapid population growth in Peoria, Arizona. Since its opening the school has maintained an Excelling academic status. Currently, approximately 1,600 students are enrolled. Their mascot is the Lion. Liberty is considered the fourth largest high school in the Peoria Unified School District, by student population. Liberty's sports and arts programs are referred to as the “Liberty Lions”. The current, proceeded by Liberty's first principal: Ali Bridgewater, principal is John Croteau and vice principals include Rick Johnson, Pat Redl, and Susan Schmit.
